About
I am a philosopher of science working as a postdoc at the University of Bern, Switzerland. I am part of the SNF funded project Climate Change Adaptation through the Feminist Kaleidoscope, led by Julie Jebeile, and a member of the Oeschger Centre for Climate Change Research (OCCR).
My research focuses on issues related to science and democracy, values in science and philosophy of climate science. To contribute to these debates, I combine resources from philosophy of science with resources from political philosophy. At the moment, I am particularly interested in the discourse on climate tipping points and questions related to activist or partisan scientists.
I have completed my PhD at the Leibniz University Hannover on the topic of Science, Representation and Democratic Legitimacy.
Originally from Germany, I have studied in Dundee, Scotland and in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
